Laws of attraction

Do you believe in the law of attraction? The phrase the law of attraction argues that if you think about something that you want or need it will be attracted to you. While many people think that these laws only are useful for being a basis of a movie of story book some believe that it really does work.

The law of attraction is not a scientifically proven method. It is not supported by any evidence or founded principles that can be proven. Many believe that the law is best explained as a connection between your subconscious and what you really want. By concentrating on what you really want some think that you can focus so much on it that it will come to fruition.

Believers in the law of attraction often look at the research done on the benefits of optimism. Some people like to refer to it as the placebo effect. The best example of the placebo effect is found in medicinal studies. A patient is given a pill that has no medicine in it and told that it will help them to get better and in some cases they actually do become better even though they received no medicine for it. Some believer the placebo effect shows the power of the mind.

Where has this phrase come from though? In the year eighteen seventy nine the New York Times was the first major newspaper to use the phrase when they used it to describe the wagon trains on the way to the Colorado gold rush. Since that time it has appeared in many articles, publications, and movies.

Many people also associate the law of attraction with the power of the mind. That we create our own realities. When we limit our beliefs we compromise on what we want. If we focus on what we don't have then all we can see is our lack or our less-than optimum reality. It seems like it is a simple idea but actually practicing the law can be a little challenging. Here are three steps that you can use to achieve what you are attracted to.

First is to ask. What is it that you really want to have? You can not attract what you really want if you first do not focus on it.

The second step is to believe. You have to know that what you are wanting is going to come true. Don't let doubts enter into your mind because they will distract you from focusing on what it is that you want. Picture how it will be when you get what you really want and make that your plan for the future. The longer that you let failure and doubts crowd your mind the longer it may take for your want to come about.

Once you believe that it will happen when it finally does happen you have to receive it. When the thing that you want comes along don't hesitate with doubt or fear. Grab on to it and don't let know. Accept that you have attracted what it is that you wanted.

The mind can be a strong force of power and it can help you to achieve great things, if you will only just believe and leave the fear and doubts out. Focus in on what you really want.
